On December 21-22, 18 of lyceum students from grades 6 to 11 took part in the regional round of the World Scholar's Cup held in Almetyevsk.

The World Scholar’s Cup is an event where dozens of teams representing different schools compete with one another in four different activities:

1) Scholar’s Challenge which is a test consisting of 120 questions;


2)Collaborative Writing is about writing three different essays on different topics by one team;

3) In Team Debate teams were given a motion (issue) to discuss and argue about;

4) Scholar’s Bowl is an epic trivia activity which consists of several rounds. Students need creative thinking to answer those questions on the screen, using special clickers;

The majority of the teams representing our Lyceum have qualified for the next level - Global Rounds which will take place in summer 2019.
